Background

Michael Sorenson is a graduate of St. John’s University. He built much of his professional experience selling IT Security Software in client-facing, solution-driven roles where he developed expertise in identifying risk, uncovering needs, and delivering tailored recommendations that drive outcomes. He now brings that same consultative approach to the insurance industry, helping clients better understand their exposures and protect what matters most.

As an Insurance Advisor at Eagle Point Insurance Group, Michael works with individuals to evaluate risk exposures and develop customized property and casualty insurance solutions. He focuses on simplifying the process and ensuring clients have the information they need to make informed coverage decisions.

Outside of Work

​

Michael enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his wife, three adult children, and their Mini Australian Sheppard.  Fun fact: Michael’s first job was a caddie and later an employee at a local prominent country club. Today, he continues his passion for golf.
