Wanda Watson Radford

Insurance Advisor

Wanda graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a double major in Biology and Anthropology.  After graduation, Wanda worked as an archaeologist for several years conducting cultural resource evaluations.  The birth of boy/girl twins resulted in a need to change career paths.  Wanda obtained her insurance licenses in property and casualty and life and health and has worked as an insurance professional for nearly 20 years.

As an Insurance Advisor, Wanda counsels and guides new and existing clients through the insurance process.  She feels it is important to educate clients on the protection options that are available in order to provide a comprehensive package of coverage that meets their needs. Wanda primarily focuses on personal lines insurance (home, auto, umbrella, and life).

Outside of Work

Wanda’s husband calls her a serial hobbyist as she loves all things connected with art.  Painting is her main focus but she also enjoys jewelry making, paper crafts, constructing stained glass panels, mandala rock art, embroidery and crochet. Lazy days at Lake Superior relaxing and fishing with her husband and children are the highest priority.

What does Wanda like most about working at an independent agency?

The flexibility of working in an independent agency with multiple carriers that can service a wide range of insurance needs.
